How do I delete apps using PurgeFlow?
PurgeFlow guides you through iOS's native deletion process. After swiping left to queue an app for deletion, tap the app in your queue and follow the on-screen instructions to either: 1) Go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage and delete from there, or 2) Long-press the app on your home screen and tap the '-' button. After deleting, return to PurgeFlow and tap 'I Deleted It' to plant your seed!
Why can't the app delete apps automatically?
iOS security prevents any app from deleting other apps automatically—this protects you from malicious apps. PurgeFlow works within these constraints by making manual deletion rewarding and tracking your progress.
How do I cancel my Premium subscription?
Go to your iPhone Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions > PurgeFlow and tap 'Cancel Subscription.' You'll keep Premium access until the end of your current billing period.
My garden isn't showing my seeds. What do I do?
Try these steps: 1) Make sure you tapped 'I Deleted It' after removing each app. 2) Pull down to refresh the garden view. 3) Force quit and reopen the app. If issues persist, contact support.
How do I redeem partner rewards?
When a plant blooms, tap it to see your reward. Most rewards provide a promo code or direct link to the partner app. Follow the instructions to claim your reward.
Can I restore my progress on a new device?
If you're a Premium subscriber, your data syncs via iCloud. Sign in with the same Apple ID on your new device and your progress will restore automatically. Free tier data is stored locally on your device only.
What's the Sanctuary folder?
The Sanctuary is a special folder on your home screen for apps that support your wellbeing—meditation, journaling, focus apps, etc. PurgeFlow helps you identify these apps and provides a guided tutorial to set up the folder with custom themes.
Troubleshooting
App crashes on launch
Try force quitting the app and reopening. If the issue persists, delete and reinstall PurgeFlow from the App Store. Your Premium status will restore automatically.
Usage data not updating
PurgeFlow requires Screen Time access to display usage data. Go to Settings > Screen Time > Turn On Screen Time. Then reopen PurgeFlow and grant permissions when prompted.
Premium features not unlocking
Tap "Restore Purchases" in the app settings. Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID used for the original purchase. If issues continue, contact support with your receipt.
